Members, we are making some big changes to our cashout procedures. Many months ago when we changed the cashouts to once a week it seemed like a great idea at the time. But as ClixSense continues to grow so does the amount of cashouts we send. So, effective immediately we will begin processing cashouts every business day. This means we will process cashouts Monday thru Friday unless there is a US holiday during the week as cashouts will not be processed on recognized US holidays and we WILL NOT process cashouts on the weekends. For example this Thursday November 26th is Thanksgiving and no cashouts will be done.

The cashout procedure will work as follows:

Each morning we will review cashouts and at that time approximately 30% of all cashouts will be processed on that day. There will be times when we will process all cashouts in one day but that depends on how many are pending. There is no cutoff time and we are not setting a time when they will be done, but they will be processed each morning.

**Please note** - You will not be permitted to cashout more than 1 time a week. You can however still add funds to your cashout while it's still pending.

This does not mean if you cashout on Monday morning that you will receive your cashout on Monday morning. Your cashout will be entered in the pending queue to be processed and will be done in the order it's received.

Also, this process does not affect those users who elect to receive a check or for those members from USA or Canada who must first go through our address verification process and receive their first cashout by check. Checks are still sent one time a month and will be processed on or before the 10th of each month.

We have already approved and sent several thousand pending cashouts today.

When and how will I get paid (Cashout)?

Your earnings will be sent by your method of choice provided that some conditions are met as shown on the table below. All funds are in US Dollars.

Electronic cashouts (PayPal, Paytoo, Payza*, Neteller) are processed once a week, on Wednesday afternoon, and completed before 5PM EST. This does not mean that if you submit your request at 4:55PM that you will receive it that day. This means that the cashouts will be "completed" by that time. The cutoff time for your cashout to be submitted is 11AM EST on Wednesday morning. If you submit it after 11AM EST then most likely this cashout will not be processed. Alternately, you may request your cashout several days prior to the scheduled cashout day if you wish as we give you the option to add funds to your pending cashout up until the time your cashout is approved.

In order to protect the integrity of our system, members from North America (USA and Canada) are required to have their postal address verified before they are eligible for electronic cashouts (Paypal or PayToo). Address verification is accomplished by sending your first cashout by check to the address on your ClixSense account profile.

As soon as you receive your Check you will need to enter and submit the PIN code printed on it on a form that will be made available on your account. This process will set your account to verified allowing you then to use any other available method of payment for your future cashouts. The minimum cashout for checks is $10.00.

Upon registration you may however select any cashout option but if you reside in these countries your first cashout will default to Check for the reason stated above.

Checks are mailed only once a month on or before the 10th of the month to the postal address on your profile. YOU MUST request your cashout before the 5th of each month in order for your cashout to be processed before the 10th of the month. Checks are valid for a period of 60 days from the date of issuance. It is the responsibility of the recipient to cash or deposit checks in a timely manner consistent with the 60-day time frame. Any check not cashed within the validity time frame is subject to cancellation.

To request a payment click on the link "Cashout" that will be made available on your account summary page next to your account balance. This link will only be available once you have reached the minimum cashout amount.

Minimum balance to cashout is $6 for Premium members and $8 for Standard members, for PayPal, Payza and Paytoo only (*Payza is available for limited countries). For other options please see table below.

What is the Daily Checklist Bonus?

The Daily Checklist not only helps you keep track of your daily ClixSense activity it also rewards you for being an active ClixSense member.

For each day that you complete your Daily Checklist, a bonus will be added to your account balance at the end of that day. Premium members will earn a bonus of up to 16.0% of their personal earnings, while Standard members will earn a bonus of up to 7.0%. The bonus amount you can earn is unlimited; it only depends on your activity.

This bonus will be calculated from your total personal earnings that include your PTC Ads clicks, ClixGrid prizes, completed CrowdFlower Tasks and completed Offers and Surveys. Other bonuses and referral commissions are not included.

In order to complete the Daily Checklist you need to:

Click at least 6 PTC Adverts of any kind;
Click at least 20 ClixGrid squares. The more you click the more chances you have to win ClixGrid prizes which will then be counted towards the bonus as well (for example as a Premium member, if you earn the $10.00 prize you could earn an extra of up to $1.60 with the Daily Checklist bonus at the end of the day);
Because not everyone has offers or tasks available to do, and to give everyone a chance, you are required to complete only one of the following:
1. Complete at least 10 CrowdFlower Tasks; or *
2. Complete at least 2 offers or surveys from the offers and surveys pages (except video offers); or *
3. Complete at least 5 CrowdFlower Tasks and at least 1 offer or survey from the offers and surveys pages (except video offers); *

How does the Cat CAPTCHA work?

Clicking on a PTC Advert, from the View Ads page, will open the advert on a new window containing a picture CAPTCHA at the top and the advertised website at the bottom.

This CAPTCHA needs to be solved in order to get credit for the click. To solve it you need to look at the five pictures displayed, of four dogs and one cat, and click on the cat. On the following example you would have to click on the first picture.

Because pictures are not verified by us, sometimes the cat may be too hard to find. In this case you may either click on "Reload" to get a new set of pictures (odds are the new set will be easier) or use the "process of elimination" (if all the other pictures are dogs then this must be the cat!).

If you fail to click on the correct picture the following message will be shown with the option to try again. Click on "Click here to try again" to retry and the CAPTCHA will be shown again with a different set of pictures.

Please note that if you fail to click on the correct picture 2 times you will lose that advert. If you fail at least 5 times in the same day you will be denied access to the adverts page for up to 24 hours. If you are denied access several times (up to us to determine) your account will be suspended! You cannot just click on the pictures randomly thinking it is ok because we give you the option to try again. You do need to follow the instructions and prove that you are human!

Clicking on the correct picture will start the timer, if the website has already been loaded. If not, just wait a few seconds to give time for the website to fully load and the timer will start. If the website takes more than 10 seconds to load the timer will start at that time.

After the timer reaches zero your click will be sent for validation while displaying the following message. This usually takes less than a second but may take a little longer depending on the server load.

After your click has been successfully validated the following message will be shown. If validation failed for any reason an error message will be shown instead explaining why.

Whenever you get an unexpected error usually you just have to try again and the error will go away, but if it persists you may report it to us via the Helpdesk.

To avoid these errors please make sure that:
1. You have javascript enabled on your browser;
2. You have nothing installed like NoScript, AdBlock, an anti-virus, etc, that is enabled to block our javascript from these domains: clixsense.com, csstatic.com, ajax.googleapis.com
3. You open only one advert at a time. You cannot open more than one advert at once. Adverts need to be opened one after the other.

A few tips for building your ClixSense

The first thing you need to understand is the weedout process. There will always be people that join and do nothing. Also, peoples lives change with time. People get married, get divorced, move locations, change jobs, take a different route in their life, etc. Therefore, as time moves forward, people that join ClixSense, may not be as active as they once were. So I think it's important to promote your ClixSense as your time allows, consistently over time. Which brings me to the second thing you need to know...

Time. ClixSense has long since proven it's longevity stance. A good idea is to create pages and link your pages to each other, with information about ClixSense. Keyword those pages and make the pages content rich. If you do that, the pages will get into the search engines where they will stay forever. The longer your pages exist, the more your pages will go in the various search engines and the more likely they will rise and be found by those entering keyword specifics. Reality is, this is a no brainer for long term ClixSense members to gain referrals on the fly from time to time.

Traffic Exchanges - The thing about traffic exchanges is the fact everyone is promoting something. What do traffic exchange members want? They want advertising. I'm sure a lot of TE users enjoy clicking all day but it's certainly not my cup of tea to click just to gain credits so I can exchange for traffic. Which brings us back to the 'Time' topic doesn't it? Yep. What I prefer to do is give people what they want. In traffic exchanges, I promote....traffic exchanges. In doing so, I am giving the traffic exchange users what they want...more advertising. Therefore it's easier to gain sign ups. By building up a few solid traffic exchanges with refs, I always have credits without having to spend TIME surfing for them. Which brings me us to....

Splash Pages - I hate splash pages. I've always hated them. I'm a content person. However, there are times when splash pages come in handy and that is when there is TIMERS and the viewer is not going to spend much time reading. I'll use splash pages in areas like TRAFFIC EXCHANGES. Since I gain credits from refs surfing and from enrolling refs, I can go into the traffic exchange and enter my splash page url on a rather regular basis. A big key to splash pages is to grab the viewers eye, and make the viewer want whatever it is you got. Which also brings us to....

Autoresponders and Optins - Now I tell you something, you don't have to use an autoresponder. It's better if you do but I can tell you a little trick I did about 15 years ago that worked rather well for me. Save a message or two to a doc. On your splash page simply state, email me directly for the info and put an email address to a free email account in which you use for nothing except for that page. Every time you get an email, you'll know it is someone wanting the info. Open your doc, copy/paste your one or two messages to them. This little trick is some times better than an autoresponder since you immediately have direct email to email contact.

Text Ad Exchanges and Solo Ads - In one way, I think text ad exchanges are better now for the user than they were when they first started. Because most are not using them like they did when they first started. Still, many have members that are still members and will read the occasional solo they receive. Since yours is the occasional, less competition, you might pull in some refs which brings us to....

Subject Lines and Body Messages - A good idea is to open a doc and save it for your subject lines and body messages. In doing so you will save time because you can easily open your doc, copy the message and paste it every time you want to send an ad. Another reason it is a good idea is because you can think about the subject line and body message to create a really good one. You can review it and make sure your spelling is accurate. Who wants to join something under someone when they have bookoo typos in the message? Not me.

Blogs - Are a very good idea. However, blogs can be confusing for the viewer. It can be tough for them to locate what they want or for you to have them locate what you want them to see. Therefore, allow them to see ONE thing. Go get a free blog, focus it on ClixSense ONLY. Every few days, go to your blog and type something about ClixSense. There is plenty to type about....How you get paid, How much you can earn, How much you made this month, How the advertising works, How the free membership works, How the premium membership works, The funny thing someone said at the ClixSense forum, etc etc etc. You won't ever run out of stuff to talk about in regards to ClixSense. If you do that, here again, your blog will hit the search engines and as long as you continue to add content to your blog, it will continue to rise in the search engines and it will continue to be listed in more areas of the search engines due to your keeping it updated and due to your constant keyword content.

Social Networks - Probably one of the best places to gain referrals if you know how to go about it. I just hate when I am at a social network and I get an ad from someone I don't even know. I am like.... getta outta here! If I am at a social network and someone starts communicating with me like.... what country are you in....have you tried the cornbread recipe...I have three kids what about you.....oh I see you are on here today how was your day yesterday.... Well when I get that kind of communication I MAKE FRIENDS. I like friends don't you? Finally one day that new friend is going to ask me, where do you work Valerie? I will say, I work online. They'll say really, what kind of work do you do.....I'll say, oh I mainly do free to earn stuff....they'll say do you make any real money doing that....I'll say sure, you want to try one?

Forums - There are a lot of forums that allow you to post a link and/or advertise. Often tho, you may be barking up a horses tail if you simply hit a forum with ads. Instead, introduce yourself, let people know you are a credible person. Reply to posts. Make friends. After the people at the forum have accepted you, realize your credibility, they'll actually READ your posts, then post and tell them about ClixSense and how it works. You'll most likely get some sign ups if you do it that way instead of just signing up to a forum and posting a blatant ad.

PTC's - There are a lot of paid to click programs online today. Most are garbage. Still, credible people some times I join garbage because they don't know it's garbage. Instead of just going in and buying an ad....USE IT FIRST. See what others are advertising. Do you see any ClixSense ads? How many do you see? Is that place over-run with ClixSense ads? IF it is, you might want to think twice before purchasing. It's always best to USE a PTC Before buying. That way you'll know how it works. You'll know IF it really is working without errors.

There is never a shortage of places to advertise. By all means, don't forget about 'The Advertiser'. You may even want to create a page about the best place to advertise and place your ClixSense link and list some advertisers features, use it as a splash page and/or advertise it. Everyone in the marketing arena is always looking for advertising.

Whatever you do, remember the first paragraph above. There will be people that join and do nothing. There will be people that will be active for awhile and then become inactive. There will also be people that become full fledged premier members and use ClixSense forever. It's up to YOU to continuously spread the word and keep on keeping on. If you do that, you'll just grin when someone leaves because it is not going to hurt you....you'll have more coming in all the time, and your commissions will keep on growing.

TIPS & Rules when doing OFFERS

ClixSense offers numerous ways for their members to earn. One of the newest implements is the ‘Offers’ category within your member area.

If you’re new to doing ‘Offers’, you may find some tips in this topic, that will help you.

First, lets look at some of the types of offers you might see. If you don’t see them now, you might see them later because ClixSense will be adding more offers. Keep in mind, this info here may not be categorized exactly to ClixSense Offers categories. Just pointing out the various types of offers you may see, now or in the future.

Trial Shopping: This refers to buying a product or service on a trial period. For example, a hosting company that charges $10 per month, may offer a one month free trial and offer an immediate $1 paid to you for joining and agreeing to two months service. Another example might be a cosmetic company that offers to pay you $5 for trying their facial moisturizer. It is very important that you read the instructions of the trial offer AND that you read the TERMS at the trial offer website. Usually in trial shopping you WON’T always be credited immediately. This makes sense of course because you may cancel the purchase. Therefore it might take a few days to several weeks to see the earnings credited to your account.

CashBack Shopping: This refers to buying a product or service, and getting either a percentage or a dollar figure amount, back. An example might be, making a purchase for a pair of slacks that cost $20 and receiving $5 cash back. Another example might be purchasing a kitchen appliance that cost $100 and receiving 5% cash back. Here again, it might take a few days for you to see the amount credited to your account. Because a member might cancel their purchase.

Daily Surveys: These may be completed as a norm, once per day unless stated otherwise. Once per days, normally means once per 24 hours. Daily surveys function similar to ClixSenseResearch surveys (if you are familiar with those). These surveys often have a PRE-Screening AND a Screening process. This means when you click to do a daily survey, you may be ask a serious of questions such as your name, email address, age, etc. That is the pre-screening process. You may then see a page that says you can go on to do the survey. This is because according to the pre-screening it APPEARS you MAY qualify to do their clients survey. You are then directed to the survey screening. Now you may be instructed to answer some of the same questions again, such as your name, email address, age, etc. This is the client screening your information to see if you truly qualify to take the survey. If you qualify, the client will continue forward with questions. Once you complete the survey, you will be credited at ClixSense for the amount stated. Some times, after you complete the daily survey, it will ask you if you want to do another....click NO. There is no point in you doing another because it is a DAILY survey and will only credit for the one survey you completed. Some times you will NOT qualify to take the survey and it may ask you if you want to try again...click YES. Just because you did not qualify on the first try, does not mean you won’t qualify the second try. Keep trying til you qualify or there is no more tries.

You can complete one daily survey for each of the daily surveys offered.

IF you try a daily survey and it says there is no surveys today for you to do, close it and come back later.
Some times if you wait an hour or so, try again, you get to take the survey.

Survey Combos: For lack of a better term, I will call these ‘Survey Combos’. These usually function a tad similar to a survey because they ask you questions but they usually have many pages of offers that you must check no or yes to. Some times, you can ‘skip’ through some of the pages that present offers you are not interested in. Follow the instructions as stated in the info for that offer in ClixSense. IF it says do the first two pages, I suggest to you to take that offer all the way to it’s end.

SignUps: As the name implies, many of these offers will pay for you to sign up to their program or offer. Some times, the sign up process is very simple. Other times, it may be more indepth, wanting you to do a bit more than just fill in your name and email address. You must do what the offer is wanting you to do in order to get credited.

Downloads: These vary but as the name implies, the offer will want you to download something. Often it is a toolbar of sorts but it can be other things too. It might be a report or ebook. It might be some sort of a notification bar about shopping or coupons or something else. You must follow the instructions completely. Some of these may credit immediately and some it may take a few days for it to credit. Some may have terms that require you to keep the downloaded item on your computer for a specific period of time, before being credited.

Games: This can be a variety of things but pertaining to games. Some will pay you for trying out their game. Some may require you to play a game for a specific period of time. Some may want you to download a game. Read the instructions.

Free: There are all kinds of offers and most offers are free unless it’s something such as shopping that requires a purchase. ClixSense will put most of all the free to earn offers in this category.

Other Offers: Some offers are kind of tough to put them into any particular category. As long as they are free, in ClixSense you will see them in the ‘Free‘ category. For example, you might find a Credit Card offer. The credit card offer is free but you must submit application for it and must be approved for it. Offers like credit cards, may take some days to credit because of the approval process. Some offers, like credit cards in this example, may want you to confirm it ...such as in actually receiving the credit card and activating it.

Before we go into the Tips, it’s important to know that you should not complain here on the forums about an offer not crediting to your account. IF you have a legitimate issue you need to submit a support ticket. What would be a legitimate issue in which you would contact ClixSense support? Well, let’s say you took up a credit card offer that will pay you $15 and you applied, were approved, and activated the card...you followed all the instructions for the card but after a couple of months or the time allotted for the earnings, you were not credited. That would be a good reason to submit a support ticket. When submitting the support ticket do NOT play hopscotch. Make sure you give support the complete information, that you did such and such credit card, your name for the credit card is, the name of the credit card offer...all the pertinent information (do not give credit card number). Doing this, they can submit to that offer in question and relay the info so you can get credited. And by relaying the info as complete as you can, everyone will save time and you’ll get your earnings a lot faster.

Submitting a ticket for a survey offer not crediting, is a big NO. Complaining here on the forums that a survey did not credit, is a big NO. The reason why you shouldn’t really should go without saying. The point is, there is such a wide array of reasons as to why a survey did not credit. For the most part, it is impossible to pin point so no point in complaining about it. It’s also impossible to do anything about. It’s like eating a sandwich, once you’ve ate it, it’s gone and that is that. Another reason why there is no point in complaining is because ClixSense is NOT the owner of the companies making the offers. ClixSense has already relaid to you the following:

Conversions: Please be advised that not all offers will convert, we apologize for this. We do not get any information from the advertiser regarding this but we ask that if you attempt it again at a later date to please follow the instructions closely and to take your time. The reasons why an offer may not convert include but are not limited to:

You are not from the geographical location required by the advertiser;
You have already completed this offer on another site;
You entered invalid/fake information;
Your email or other information is already in the advertiser's database;
You did not let the advertiser's site load completely;
You did not meet the eligibility for the offer including but not limited to age, location, gender;
You did not complete the offer fully according to the advertiser's requirements;
Your browser is not accepting cookies or is incompatible (e.g. too old);
You are using a proxy or similar service which is either blocking cookies or hiding your true location;
You are using a prepaid credit card or a prepaid cell phone to complete offers;
You are using programs that block advertisements and/or javascript, which effectively block cookies and other required elements.

TIPS

1) PREPARE - This is the first thing you should do before doing offers.
a - Clean out your email account, make sure your spam folder is empty
b - Make sure you are using a good free web based email account (strongly suggest gmail)
c - Do offers when you have Time without Interruption
d - Turn off Ad Blockers
e - Clear history before beginning each offer
f - Clear cache before beginning each offer
g - Clear cookies before beginning each offer
h - Use IE browser when possible. Use FireFox browser if IE is not possible. Other browsers most often work but with offers, the two stated are the best.

2) WATCH - Keep an eye on your email account after completing an offer.
a - Some offers may send an email with a confirmation link. It's an important to check your email immediately after completing an offer.
b - Be sure to check your spam folder for email message containing confirmation link after completing an offer. Often, they hit the spam folder.
c - If the offer you completed, credited the stated earnings to your ClixSense account immediately, you don't necessarily have to look for a confirmation email.

3) FOLLOW to the END - Complete the offer.
a - The offer instructions might simply state to complete the first two pages. Go further if there is more than two pages.
b - If the offer instructions say to do the first 1, 2, 3, 4, etc pages, keep an eye on your email as it's highly possible a confirmation link will arrive in your email....if it does, you can click to confirm and you don't have to proceed forward doing more of the pages

4) SUBMIT HONEST INFO - Inaccurate information can eventually boot you permanently.
a - Always submit your name, address, age, etc with accurate information.
b - Don't focus on what might be, stay honest, some you will qualify for, some you won't. You can't win by fibbing.

5) DON'T ATTEMPT OFFERS DONE ELSE WHERE - You could be booted from that offer company.
a - Create an offline offers sheet or notebook.
b - Write down the exact name of the offer you completed.

Most of the tasks in Clixsense can be completed multiple or sometimes unlimited times! However, in some cases they put a limit or pause the job and if this happens, a message will be displayed on the screen to explain this to you. Certain specific tasks will require you to "train" for the task before it is completed which means you will be evaluated to see how well you perform in doing the task before you are able to complete it. Therefore, inorder to successfully complete the task, you should pay attention to any given instructions in the task before it is completed. Your accuracy and credits are displayed in the top pane of the task. So, what you can do is login to your Clixsense account and familarize yourself with the "Tasks Page" before you attempt any.

Just in case, you fall below the minimum accuracy threshold for a particular task at which point, you are no longer allowed to continue working on that particular task, do not get discouraged. Do not be disappointed, you can still continue and participate in any other available tasks.

Games - This requires you to download or play online games;

Offers Credit : Some offers will credit your account instantly once you successfully complete the offer while others have a long waiting period like 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks to credit depending upon the advertisers' requirements.
